I didn't think that I could admire you and Kevin any more, but I was wrong.

I am moved by your generosity and love. 💚

You are both bloody brilliant. I think people forget that very easily this could happen to one of their children, imagine a wonderful family with a fabulous home stepping up and saying, Yes, we'll look after your child while you can't❤

What a gift you & Kevin are to M and to all of us reading about your experience - thank you for showing us what love, humanity & kindness look like. I hope more families are able to open their hearts and homes the way you have x

Kat you are an incredible human being.

On the few times I have excitedly met you at yarn festivals, you’ve met me with a warm hug and and been thoroughly wonderful. I read my way through this with tears in my eyes. What an incredible lucky young man to have you guiding him and a wonderful family to surround him x

Really wonderful read Kat. We are hosting a Ukrainian teen at the moment and it has been everything you describe - difficult and wonderful in equal measure - will definitely look at fostering across borders after this x
